The Mapungubwe Institute for Strategic Reflection (MISTRA) in partnership with the University of Johannesburg (UJ) is pleased to invite you to the 8th Mapungubwe Annual Lecture 2020.
This year marks the 10th year since the establishment of MISTRA and, as it reaches this important milestone, it is significant that we generate critical discourse on fundamental issues pertaining to the South African polity and political economy.
MISTRA’s Executive Director, Joel Netshitenzhe will deliver this year’s lecture under the theme: Can South Africa’s civilisation of national democracy sustain itself?
