The 3rd Mapungubwe Annual Lecture, For Africa to Live, the Nation Must Die? The fluidity of African identity in a Changing Continent was delivered by Graca Machel on the 10th July 2014.

Graca Machel has been a tireless advocate for women and children’s rights including the promotion of girls’ education and empowerment in Africa. She is an Eminent Person of the African Peer Review Mechanism, an Elder, and holds the chancellorship of the University of Cape Town.
