The research-based volume edited by Nqobile Xaba and Saliem Fakir aims to broaden the discourse on the low-carbon transition in South Africa, and explore the opportunities and impediments in making the transition fair, affordable and socioeconomically viable.
The Mapungubwe Institute for Strategic Reflection (MISTRA) launched its priority research project, entitled, A Just Transition to Low Carbon Futures on the 24th February 2022. Executive Director, Joel Netshitenzhe delivered the welcoming remarks.
