In Search of An Ethical Foundation for the South African Nation

28 February 2018

Gallagher Convention Centre, Lotus 2 Hall, 19 Richards Dr, Halfway House, Midrand

6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

The Mapungubwe Institute for Strategic Reflection (MISTRA) is pleased to invite you to the launch of its new book, In Search of An Ethical Foundation for the South African Nation.

In September 2016 MISTRA hosted a conference on the topic ‘Seeking the Ethical Foundations of South Africa’, with key speakers including, Justice Yvonne Mokgoro, Dr.  Iraj Abedian, Nompumelelo Runji, Prof Charles Simkins, Bishop Malusi Mpumlwana and many more. The conference sought to ask the difficult questions about the ethical fibre of post-apartheid South Africa. We are now pleased to invite you to the launch of te book that brings together the inputs at that conference as well as some additional papers.

MISTRA is keen to continue the conversations started, revisiting challenges and unearthing solutions that will place South Africa on a much-improved ethical trajectory, willing and able to deliver the promises cherished at the birth of our new dispensation.

The launch will provide a platform for the researchers to present summaries of their papers.
