The research investigates the evolution of the South African State, conception, transition, character, capacities, agency and its role in the political economy in South Africa . The workshop forms part of the key milestones of the research project. It will serve as a platform of dialogue and critical review of six (6) theme papers to be presented by project team members, the outcome of which should positively influence the trajectory of the project.
