The Mapungubwe Institute for Strategic Reflection (MISTRA) is pleased to invite you to its upcoming online discussion on ‘Macro-social Trends in South Africa’, on the 20th of July 2023.

The discussion will be anchored on the most recent Macro-social Report (MSR) 2022 that was produced by MISTRA and the University of Johannesburg Faculty of Humanities in consultation with the Policy and Research Services at The Presidency. The 2022 MSR examines human development indicators and macro-economic changes that significantly impact on social trends such as structural economic changes in the global context, changes in social conditions, identity and social cohesion.
