African Millennial Dialogue Roundtable

The Mapungubwe Institute for Strategic Reflection (MISTRA) together with the Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS), Global Progressive Forum (GPF) and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) will be hosting the African Millennial Dialogue Roundtable on Friday, 20 May 2016 at the Wits Club

The Millennial Dialogue is a global initiative among progressive think tanks, researching the reasons for young people being commonly misconceived as politically disengaged when compared to their parents or the older generation.

In this regard, FEPS, in collaboration with GPF, recently commissioned a research study to obtain a better understanding of youth attitudes towards political participation in three African countries –  Senegal, Mozambique and South Africa. This roundtable will see the launch of South Africa’s Millennial Survey Results where the key findings will be presented in an interactive way.

The details for the roundtable are as follows:

Date: Friday, 20 May 2016
Venue: Wits Club, West Campus, 1 Jan Smuts Ave, Johannesburg 2000
Time: 09h00 – 15h00
