MISTRA Senior Researcher in the Humanity Faculty, Dan Tlhabane Motaung contributed an article in the History section of The Thinker Quarter 3 – 2018/ Volume 77. In this article, Motaung challenges the ‘worldview’ in which history is constructed. He argues that a large part of African history is written by people from outside the African continent and proposes a few strategies to restore the integrity of historical records
